He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Milton Godwin and Dee Dee Mosley Godwin. He is survived by: his children, Alice Wharton (Wayne) and Daniel Godwin; and his sister Margaret Franklin. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
