With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Douglas Moss (Hartselle, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 20, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edgar Moss and Edna Earl Slate Moss; his former wife Angie Thomason Moss; his brother Jimmy Day; and his granddaughter Olivia Alred.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Garnett Moss; his children, John Lane Moss, Barry Scott Moss, Jonathan Alred (Emily) and Danna Owen (Joseph); and his grandchildren, Madalynn Grace Owen, Katie Beth Owen, Henry Alred, Tom Scott, Mike Tucker, David Langston, Johnnie Howell, Jimmy Reeder, Glenn Thompson, Mike Root and Alan King.
In lieu of flowers; family requests memorial donations be made to the "Good Samaritan Fund" at First Methodist Church.
