With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jimmy W. Bedingfield (Hartselle, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Sr. Bedingfield (Eva Bedingfield) and Eva Bedingfield; and his siblings, Alton, Mildred, Buford, Wayne, Carolyn Bibb and Milton Bedingfield.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Bedingfield; his children, Scott Bedingfield (Brandy), Pam Powers (Tojo) and Ashley McDaniel (Patrick); his grandchildren, Jacob, Kalyn, Ally Bedingfield, Faith Holmes and Brittney Garrison (Phillip); his great grandchildren, Parker, Cooper, Maddie, Hayden, Austin Powers (Jordan) and Tripp McDaniel; and his brother Roger Bedingfield.
His contributions to the baseball and softball programs were invaluable, and he took great pride in supporting and mentoring young athletes.
