He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Avery Meares, Jr. (Erica), Connie Renea Mullins and Brian Dewayne Meares (Brenda); his sisters, Lellyan Cole, Connie Burgant (Wendell), Brenda Blankenship (Billy Tom) and Vicky Whinsenant (Keith); and his grandchild Eighteen.
