She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford William Slade and Helen Marie Havel Slade; her husband Ronald Wayne Payton; and her grandson Tyler Whitt. She is survived by: her daughters, Sheri Strong, Susan Mardis (Byron) and Stacy Payne (Daryl); and her siblings, Sonny Slade and Kathy Funke. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
