He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Larry John Bates, Joe Clyde Patterson and Martha Patterson. He is survived by: his grandmother Sarah Jenell Bates; his parents, Loronda Lee Sparkman (Glyndon) and Roger Dan Patterson (Sandra); his brother Hunter Lee Patterson (Kourtney); his stepsiblings, Daniel Sparkman (Summer), Jonathan Sparkman (Kristina) and Britany Sparks; and his nephew Case Lee Patterson. He is also survived by his family, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital or American Diabetes Association.
