He is survived by: his wife Maxine Newton Gibson; his sons, James "Jimbo" Gibson (Kandy), Lee Gibson (Felecia) and Michael "Mike" Gibson (Ryan); his brother Howard Gibson (Gaye); and his grandchildren, Brandon Gibson, Colton Gibson, Alice Gibson Mace (Tim) and Jonathan Gibson.
