He was predeceased by: his parents, William Guy Porter and Ophelia Pruitt Porter; his wife Ruby Porter; his children, Freddie Porter and Nancy Porter Copeland; and his siblings, Ray, Herman, Herschel Lee Porter, Mildred Leigeber and Dorothy Jean Porter. He is also survived by his Nieces and Nephews.
