She was predeceased by: her husband Monty B. Gooch, Sr.; her son Richard Gooch; her mother Pearlie Chandler; and her siblings, Lillian McAnally, O. W. Chandler, Walter Chandler and Billy Chandler.
She is survived by: her sons, Wendell Gooch, Kendall Gooch and Monty Gooch, Jr. (Summor); her grandchildren, Indie Gooch, Brett Gooch, Austin Gooch and Bridgette Johnson; and her siblings, Pat Bolen and Morris Chandler (Rose). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church (8880 Co Rd 71, Lexington, AL 35648). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
