He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Melson Prater; his children, Jamie Charles Prater (Jill) and Sarena White (Johnny); his son-in-law Lynn Lacy; his sisters, Dorothy Powell and JoAnn Steel; and his great grandchildren, Drew Prater, Cody Bowers, Jacob White, Coynis Smith, Paul Prater and Sandy Sanford. He is also survived by Eight Grandchildren.
