In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Betty had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Betty may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Engle and Flora Keller Engle; her husband Sherrill Dean Bracken; and her daughter Sarah Bracken. She is survived by: her children, Michael Bracken (Meta), Richard Bracken (Delana), Randy Bracken (Stacey) and Deanna Purser (Mikeal); and her brother Steve Engle (Delight). She is also survived by Eight Grandchildren and, Nine Great Grandchildren Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Peck Funeral Home (1600 Hwy 31 SW, Hartselle, AL 35640). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Peck Funeral Home Chapel (1600 Hwy 31 SW, Hartselle, AL 35640).
