He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Skelton and Hilda Baker Skelton; his siblings, Mary "Liz" Mitchell, Rhonda Loftin and James B. Skelton; his granddaughter Meagan Elmore; and his nephew Mark Loftin.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Wilson Skelton; his children, Sheryl Skelton Elmore (David), William Todd Skelton (Vallie) and Kristy Skelton Jackson (Lee); his grandchildren, Kristen Johnson (Kyle), Jamie Leverette, Kaci Conrad, William Cody Skelton and Virginya Hathaway; his siblings, Martha Blalock and Thomas E. Skelton (Lillian); and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Hulon and Jacqueline Peters (Bobby Ned). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
