It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Parker Blackburn of Hartford, Alabama, who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Carols Randall Blackburn; her parents, R. C. Parker (Bob) and Clara Mae Nall Parker; her siblings, Dennis Parker and Dollie; and her brother-in-law Foyette Austin.
She is survived by: her daughter Denise Fitzgerald (Mike) of Hartford; her stepson Chris Poole (Mary Jane) of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Jared Bottoms and Brianne Fitzgerald of Hartford; her niece Shanda Battles (Kevin); her nephews, Lee Austin (Christi) of Wicksburg and Jeff Parker (Susie) of Midlothan; her sister-in-law Diana Parker of Midlothan; and her great grandchildren, Noah Bottoms, Hadley Fitzgerald, Raschel Poole, Riley Pool, Lisa Bottoms (Jason Fuqua), Scarlett Rose and Emily Kate of Marianna.
