It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Christine Jones Butler of Hartford, Alabama, who passed away on March 10, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lena Holland Jones and James Leon Jones, Sr.; and her brother Julius Jones. She is survived by: her husband Howard W. Butler; her son Jeffrey; her siblings, Gladys Davis, Martha Owens, Jean Smith, James Jones, Jr. and John Ed Jones; her sons, Billy Butler and Tim Butler (Amy); her grandchildren, Jacob Butler and Skyler Berry; and her siblings, Lillie Carmichael, Emmalene Welch and Kenneth Jones. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and other extended family and friends.
