She is survived by: her mother Luvena Phillips Newman; her siblings, Charles Rex Newman Jr. (Joyce), James Anthony Newman and Sandra Gail Newman; her friend Lisa Adams; her niece Amber Rebecca Farmer (Jonathan); her nephew Alexander Grant Newman; her great-niece Hailey Victoria Farmer; her great-nephews, Stephen Christopher Farmer, Damien Thorn Farmer and Dorian Ezra Farmer; her half-siblings, Rickey Lloyd and Jimmie Walker (James); and also Micah.
