With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Opal Frances Spikes of Hartford, Alabama, who passed away on September 7, 2021 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Spikes and Eula Bell McDonald Spikes; and her nephews, Jack Spikes (Jeanette) and Theo Pate (Helen). She is survived by: her sister Rev. W. Jean Spikes; her nephews, Joe Paul Spikes (Barbara) and Harold Pate (Sue); her niece Terri Wilkerson; her great-nephews, Tony Wilkerson (Sherri), Kalub and Ethyn Wilkerson; and her great-niece Brittney Wilkerson.

The family requests everyone in attendance abide by the CDC guidelines of social distancing and wearing masks.
