She was predeceased by: her parents, Amie Turner and Jane Sasser Turner; her son Mark (Marilee); her husband James Carpenter; and her daughter-in-law Marilee Carpenter.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Markie Lamb (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Marilee, Caroline and Mark Lamb; and her sister Mary Deal (Billy). She is also survived by cousins; nieces; nephews; and other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made the Bay Springs Baptist Church.
