It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael LeRoy Metcalf of Hartford, Alabama, born in Rich Hill, Missouri, who passed away on June 29, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Metcalf and Ruth Metcalf; and his close friend Kenny Copeland. He is survived by: his brother William "Bud" Metcalf; his niece Tonya Tomlin (Shon); his nephew Scott Metcalf; his daughter Jennifer Rice-Tidwell (Harold); his grandchildren, Shawn, Angel Rice, Bridgett, Harry, Bonnie, Cody, Braydenn and Ashlynn; and also Jay. He is also survived by four great nieces and nephews.
