She was predeceased by: her parents, William Aaron and Ludie Pearl Strawder Newman; and her husband Billy Wayne Ryals. She is survived by: her children, Sonja Ryals Gilley, Sue Ryals Byrd and Mark Ryals (Tracy); her grandchildren, Adrian Ryals (Hayden), Kendrick Parrish, Forrest Ryals (Saylor Paulson), R. J. Gilley, Cade Ryals and Anna Beth Byrd; her great grandchildren, Audrianna Ryals and Rylan Duckwald; and her sisters, Jewel Pierce (Jack) and Alice Sisk. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
