He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Ballard and Bea Cotton Ballard; and his brother Gene Ballard (Jesse). He is survived by: his wife Sue Ballard; his sons, Larry Ballard (Melinda), Don Ballard (Patti), Jimmy Ballard, Neil Ballard (Misty) and Mark Ballard (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Shellie (Scott), Demara (Allen), Ben (Khris), Brett (Hillary), Evan (Hannah), John David, Audrey (Landon), Max, Jaycie, Will, Tymofii and Myroslava; and his great grandchildren, John Patrick, Hannah, Bryce, Gracie, John Luke and Beau.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Union Baptist Church (105 E Burch St, Hartford, AL 36344). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
