He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Jackson Parr; and his wife Sherry Parr. He is survived by: his children, Joseph A. Newsome (Stephanie Carter) of Samson, Jennifer Blackmon (Norman) of New Brockton, Chad Newsome (Kim) of New Brockton and Keith Hornsby (Larhonda) of Opp; his sister Pamelah Carr (Douglas) of Willis, Texas; and his grandchildren, Hannah Hatfield (Trevor), Mindy Mock (Justin), Cameron Hornsby, Tristan Cooper (Mahalie), Jannah Hornsby, Zach Carter and Emily Newsome. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
