He is survived by: his children, Teresa Shepard, Rocky (Terri Jo Shepard) and Melissa Shepard; his grandchildren, Patrick Hatcher, Charrell Lockhart, Chelsey Lockhart, Emory Shepard, Cade Shepard and Alex Turvin; and his siblings, Sara Kirkland and Johnny Shepard. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
