He was predeceased by: his parents, Foyal Sanford Carter, Sr. and Betty Sue Carter; his grandparents, John Foyal Carter and Willie Lee Carter; and his brother-in-law Timothy White.
He is survived by: his children, John Foyal Carter (Jessica) and Carol Anne Carter; his granddaughters, Aspen Dealie Carter and Lily Elizabeth Carter; his sisters, Brenda Lee MacConnell (Robert), Connie Sue Hawkins (Patrick) and Dianne Carter Romano (Tony); and his uncle Larry Carter (Patricia). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
