She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Meadows and Bessie Battles Meadows; her husband Maurice H. McSwain; her siblings, Mary Nell Joiner, Rachael Strickland, Hubert, Neal and Wilbur Meadows; and her siblings-in-law, Willie Joiner, Herman Berry, Kulon Strickland and Virginia Meadows.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara McSwain, Earnest Hilton McSwain (Beth), James McSwain (Kathy) and Danny McSwain; her grandchildren, Theresa Tiemann (Bobby), Joey McSwain (Michelle), Amber Brannon (Jeremy), James W. McSwain, Kalee McSwain and Brandon McSwain (Holly); her great grandchildren, David Tiemann, Hannah Tiemann, Austyn Brannon, Tryston Brannon, Ross McSwain and Darby McSwain; and her sister Martha Berry. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
