He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnie Thomas and Elver Thomas; his wife Minnie Lee Thomas; his sons, Billy and Sammy Thomas; and his siblings, Stone, Lila Hester and Alline Henderson.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie (Joe), Sarah, Johnny (Martha), Travis (Elizabeth) and Tony (Sandy); and his grandchildren, Richard, Jonathan, Jacqueline, Shug, Tonya, Sharley, Linda, Carla, Wendy, John, Michael, Kyle, Kayla, Chris and Ashley. He is also survived by 35 greatgrandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
