She is survived by: her siblings, Charlie Jr. (Lois), Carl, Douglas (Verita), Larry (Jean) and Sara; her children, Audrey LaVerne (Brian) and Herman Sr. (Rachel); her grandchildren, Daria (James), Jared, Alex (Daniela), Khalayah, Alexis, Jada, Jasmine and Herman Jr.; her great grandchildren, Kimora Syrai, DeKari James and Layla Rayne of Freehold, NJ; her godchildren, Lisa Mitchell Swift, Dawn McFarland, Barbara Richardson and Aisha Hill Garrett; and her friend Lucy Harvey Mitchell Schenck. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
