She was predeceased by: her parents, Burvel Plott and Beatrice Plott; and her grandson Jerrod Mitchell Smith. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bobby" Jackson; her children, Jennifer Jackson-Kilgo (Jerry), Jerod Jackson and Julie Jackson-Smith (Jonathan); and her grandchildren, Alé Kilgo, Jackson Smith and Emmie Smith.
