She was predeceased by: her mother Gladys Montez Chambers Walling; her brother Julious Walling; her husband Jack Walter Lindsey; her former husband Leldon Scott; her daughter Lisa Lindsey Posey; her cousin Miriam Walling Dull; her grandparents, David Lon and Samantha Alice Chambers; her father Julious Eric Walling; her great-grandparent Dr. John Henry Walling; and her grandmother Maude Drake Walling.
She is survived by: her children, Randall Keith Lindsey (Kim) of Vinemont and Carole Lindsey DeShazo of Gulf Shores; her grandchildren, Stephanie Posey Koswoski (Joseph Koswoski), Ryan Posey (Tonya) of Huntsville, Tiffanie Lindsey Doyle (Rory) of Vinemont, Brandon Lindsey (Stacy) of Cullman, Lindsey Grace DeShazo of Pensacola and Jackson Walling DeShazo of Gulf Shores; her great grandchildren, Finley Koswoski of Madison, Tucker Koswoski of Madison, Fisher Doyle of Vinemont, Ellis Posey and Wade Posey of Huntsville; her brother Rodger D. Walling of Vinemont; her son-in-law Frank Posey, Jr. of Athens; her cousins, Sharon Dull Hume of Toana, James Dull of Williamsbug, Charlotte Burks of Cullman and Sonny Mullins of Cullman; and her close friend Bonnie Blanton of Cullman. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
