It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jo Butts of Hanceville, Alabama, who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leacille Griffin and Alma Foust-Griffin; her husband Roy A. Butts; and her daughter Anita Davis. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Perkins and James Laney (Pat); and her son-in-law Terry Davis. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hanceville Funeral Home (100 Michelle St NW, Hanceville, AL 35077). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel (100 Michelle St NW, Hanceville, AL 35077).
