She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Yates-Grimmett and Ida Yates-Grimmett; her husband Hobert Parker; her son Steve Parker; her siblings, Pauline Blalock, Marie Dunn, Fred Grimmett Jr., Clellan Earl Grimmett and Inez Kelley; and her grandsons, Bobby Allred and Chuck Allred.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Allred (Daryl), Paulette McCormick (Jeff), Deborah Widner and Michelle Thomas (Jimmy); and her siblings, Leldon Grimmett (Nelda) and Sondra Lee (Bill). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hanceville Funeral Home (100 Michelle St NW, Hanceville, AL 35077). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel (100 Michelle St NW, Hanceville, AL 35077).
