She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Brown and Willie Louise Maddox Brown; her son Tony Smothers; and her brothers, Bill, Ricky, Joe Brown and Mickey Bryan.
She is survived by: her sons, David Smothers (Tabatha) and Norman Ray Smothers; her daughter-in-law Kay Smothers Bailey; her siblings, Wendell Brown (Sherry), Kenneth Brown, Beatrice Bainbridge, Geraldine Scott, Joy Patterson (Charlie) and Mary Lou Rickman; and her grandchildren, Misty Partain, James Messersmith, Christy Smothers Campbell, Brent Smothers, Kayla Smothers and James Calvin Messersmith.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Cullman County Hospice in memory of Mrs. Smothers.
