He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Spears and Clemmie Taft Spears. He is survived by: his wife Rose Slovensky Spears; his sons, Randy Spears (Linda) and Stephen Spears (Andrea); his grandchildren, Maggie Pitts (Adam), Sara Beth Spears, Sydney Spears Thomas (Andrew) and Emily Spears; his great grandchildren, Davis, Parker and Sydney Pitts; and his siblings, Ronnie Spears (Diane) and Linda Gravlee (Gene). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins.
