It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Amelia Medlock of Hanceville, Alabama, born in Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Edward Medlock; her grandson Jonathan Mitchell; her parents, Frank Johnston and Marie Johnston; her siblings, Agnes Burney, Alfred Johnston and Ralph Johnston; and her brother-in-law CJ Burney.
She is survived by: her children, James Medlock Jr. (Sharlene), Patty Medlock Allcorn (Edwin), Lynne Medlock Green and Karen Medlock Mitchell; her grandchildren, Jason Allcorn (Tanya), Allison Medlock Jones (Trent), Mary Medlock Wilson (Josh), Tim Green (Kalah) and Amanda Allcorn Graham (Russell); her great grandchildren, Anna Kate Allcorn, John Luke Allcorn, Elliott Jones, Keller Jones, Oliver Wilson, Alice Amelia Wilson, Tristan Green, Kruz Green, Kade Green, Tynslee Green, Ezra Graham, Asa Graham and Audrey Graham; her brother James Johnston (Diane); and her sister-in-law Hilda Johnston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
