She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend John William Lancaster; her parents, Elbert Thrasher and Mattie Mote Thrasher; and her siblings, Earl, Bill, Lonnie Thrasher and Lois Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Lancaster (Vanessa) and Diane Gibbs (Cary); her sister Jerrie Patrick; her grandchildren, Joshua Lancaster, Vicki DeCuypere and Andrew Gibbs; and her great grandchildren, Chase Lancaster, Cannon Lancaster and Lucas Gibbs.
