She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward Hooper and Lucille Herron Hooper of Robbinsville, NC.; her husband Narsh Dewayne Benson; and her brothers, Dennis and Ray.
She is survived by: her children, Narsh Dewayne Benson II (Heidi), Amy Elizabeth Suarez (Arnie) and Sarah Benson Heritage; her grandchildren, Jeremy Benson (Jessica), Jessica Colón (Steven), Michael Suarez, Preston Heritage and Greer Heritage; and her great grandchildren, Maddox Benson, Mara Benson, Steven Colón and Noelle Colón. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
