With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet M. Clingingsmith (Hampton Cove, Alabama), born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on February 20, 2024 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janet M. Clingingsmith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bell and Hazel Elwell Bell; her husband Richard Clingingsmith; and her siblings, Robert Bell, Jr. and Louise Hickey.
She is survived by: her son Douglas L. Clingingsmith (Jennifer) of Owens Crossroads; her grandchildren, Kayla Bonner (James), Whitney Murray (Steven), Joshua Clingingsmith and Jaxon Clingingsmith; her great grandchildren, Richard and Wyatt Murray; and her sister Joyce Townsend of St. Paul, Minnesota. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to the ASPCA or local Animal Shelter of choice.
