He was predeceased by: his parents, James McFerrin and Beulah Lavell Irvin Potts; his son Steve Potts; and his siblings, Billy (Gloria Potts), Roger Potts, Junior Potts, Donald Potts, Mary Irvin, Sudie (John McCombs), Mavis (Walter Lee Blakeney) and Davis (Zelma Potts).
He is survived by: his wife Linda Potts; his daughter Kristie Dolan (Darrell); his daughter-in-law Barbie Potts; his grandchildren, Anna Kate Dolan, Ella Dolan, Will Potts and Carolyn Potts; and his sister-in-law Jill Potts. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
