He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Jez and Maryja Jez; his daughter Kathleen Jez; his wife Margaret Pazdan Jez; and his brother Joseph.

He is survived by: his siblings, Martin Jez and Sophie Szelingowski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
