It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rayburn Lucas of Hamilton, Alabama, who passed away on October 7, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lee Lucas and Shalar Bolin; his son Wayne Lucas; and his brothers, W. T. Lucas, Jerry Lucas, Garland Ray Lucas, Jody Lucas and Larry "PeeWee" Lucas.
He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Witt (Brian); his stepdaughter Sarah Taylor (David); his siblings, Carl Lucas (Glenda), Buddy Lucas (Martha) and Ruby Palmer of Hamilton, AL; his grandson Seth Lucas (Hailee); his great grandchildren, Berkleigh Lucas and Levi Lucas; his pet Sadie; and his sisters, Beulah Mullins, Lovie Lucas and Kathy Lucas.
