With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LeRoy Howard of Hamilton, Alabama, born in Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on April 26, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Omar Howard (Esther Freeze Howard) and Esther Freeze Howard; his siblings, Jerry Howard, Thelma Hildebaugh, Ruth Yerington and Phyllis Marine; his stepsons, Truman and Richard Carter; his stepgranddaughter Lindsay Carter; and his stepson-in-law John Kuykendall.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Herndon Howard; his children, Tim Howard (Gracie) of Moline, IL, Scott (Sabrina), Tammy Douglas of Moline, IL and Christine Bursaw (Mark) of Marshall, WS; his sister Miriam Neff; his sister-in-law April Howard; his stepdaughters, Debra Kuykendall of Smithville, MS and Rhonda Sloan; and his stepdaughter-in-law Sheila Carter of Muscle Shoals, AL. He is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
