Jettie Jewell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jettie Jewell of Hamilton, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 30, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Nixon and Eva Dell Yeilding Nixon; and her siblings, Hayward Nixon (Virginia), Joel Nixon (Doris), Norma Lou Brooks (Roy) and Gennetta Cayson.
She is survived by: her husband David Jewell; her daughters, Sherry Wiginton Shawn (Paul) and Scarlet Harris (Frank); her grandchildren, Amber, Zach, Fallon, Cassie, Jetta, Shane, Tisha and Seth; and her sisters, Margie Mays and Eva Carol Sartain. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamilton Church of Christ (1805 Military St S, Hamilton, AL 35570). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
