He was predeceased by: his father Jerry R. Swinney; and his siblings-in-law, Danny Allison, Ronnie Hall and Michele Swinney. He is survived by: his wife Tula Sexton Swinney; his son Clint Alan Swinney (Anna); his grandson Nathan Alan Swinney; his mother Vina Lou Swinney; and his siblings, Laura Gail Kimbrough (Ray), Darrell R. Swinney Sandy (Jamie), Steve Wade (Jennifer) and James Robert Swinney. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Gideon Ministry, to further the spread of the Gospel of Jesus, or the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
