With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hugh Douglas Whitman of Hamilton, Alabama, who passed away on September 12, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jean Clark Whitman; his parents, James Martin Whitman, Sr. and Oza Underwood Whitman; and his siblings, Sarah Frances Whitman, Mertie Fay Whitman, James Martin Whitman, Jr., Theresa Raye Whitman and Joyce Jean Whitman.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Donny Clark (Linda) of Hamilton; his niece Roxanne Whitman; his nephews, James Wayne Whitman (Vickie), Michael Whitman, Adam Don Clark (Sarah) of Augusta, GA, Brandon Allen Clark (Alisha) of Pelham and Cody Michael Clark (Ali) of Hamilton; his great-nieces, Teagan, Finleigh and Sierra; and his great-nephew Dawson. He is also survived by other relatives, church family and friends.
