Gene Sanderson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2024, at the age of 89, Gene Sanderson of Hamilton, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Sanderson and Rebecca Harris Sanderson; and his wife Emma Jean McDaniel Sanderson. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Hammitte (Mark), Scotty Sanderson (Leslie) of Hamilton, AL and Allen Sanderson (Karen) of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Hannon McDaniel Sanderson (Hannah), Harris Mobley Sanderson (Leah), Peyton Sanderson, Gracie Sanderson, Zachary Hammitte (Taylor) and Jennifer Bryant (Zach); and his great grandchildren, Liam Bryant and Lettie Bryant.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hamilton First Baptist Church (430 1st Ave SW, Hamilton, AL 35570). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
