He was predeceased by: his parent Anna Cecilia Jerek Thompson; and his grandparents, Mandy Hollis, Joseph and Margarrett Jerek. He is survived by: his father Elbert Leon Thompson, Sr.; his siblings, Christine Collins of Birmingham, Margie Pierce (Joe) of Jasper, Robert Thompson (Becky) of Guin, William Morris (Kathy) of Winfield and Joseph Morris (Marcey) of Winfield; and his nieces and nephews, Matt, Leslie, Jeremy, Jason Morris, Casey Honeycutt, Josh, Travis Thompson, Ashley, Michael Pierce and Amanda Hollis.
In Lieu of Flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
