He was predeceased by: his parents, James Austin and Vida Winagon Rowden; his former wife Dorethia Caskin Rowden; his wife Linda Smith Rowden; his son Davis A. Rowden; his siblings, Joyce Smith and George Rowden; and his granddaughter Amber.
He is survived by: his children, Charlin Hocutt (Gary) of Hamilton, AL and Garreth Floyd; and his sister Virginia Tscheske. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren.
