He was predeceased by: his parents, Euel Butler and Helen Butler; his siblings, Edmond Butler, Evelene Keeton, Faye Kirkland and Loretta Hill; and also Quinnie Posey.
He is survived by: his sons, Ricky Butler, Kenneth Butler, Junior Butler and John David McCracken; his grandchildren, Cecilia Burns, Justin Butler, Cory Butler, Kenna Butler, Skyler Butler and Kam McCracken; his niece Shelby Smith; and his siblings, Matie Charlotte Underwood and Bert Yates. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
