Though Willodean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Willodean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Pickard and Ovelia Pickard; her daughter Zona Carol Berry; her siblings, Madlean Pickard, Jessie Pickard, Ellean Huffman and Eugene Pickard; and her husband Ralph Berry.
She is survived by: her son Steve Berry; her grandchildren, Drew Berry and Tiffany Holman; and her great grandchild Olivia Berry.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pinkard Funeral Home (1308 21st St, Haleyville, AL 35565). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
