He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cletus and Thelma Clark Whitman; and his brothers, Pat Whitman and Terry Whitman. He is survived by: his wife Kim Ann Whitman; his children, Laura Ann Whitman Prince (Matt), William J. Whitman Jr. (Shari), Tony Whitman, Josh Balkenbush and Bryan Balkenbush (Holly); his siblings, John Whitman, Paul Whitman, Susie Whitman, Ron Whitman, Sue Whitman and MaryAnn Whitman (Jim Finley); and his grandchildren, Margo, Andrew, Brayden, Katie, Craig, Mark, Brandie, Jessi, Christopher, Gabby, Nate, Allison, Braydon and Macy. He is also survived by brother; cousins, nieces, nephews and many other friends.
