He is survived by: his wife Christine Scogin; his daughters, Myra Weems (Vann) and Sandy Evans (Mark); his grandchildren, Selena Weems Glover (Jessy), Felicia Weems Johnson (Joel), Hayden Evans (Leah Borden) and Samual Evans (Harley Voyles); his great grandchildren, Lydia Sparks, Owen Sparks, Skylar Johnson and Preston Johnson; his siblings, Laura Bishop (Bobby), Brenda Hess and Kermit Scogin (Robby); and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Johnson and Sammy Johnson (Pat). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
